Adam, a scientist, is working to uncover what is actually happening within us, at the instance when we emotionally respond to music.

Piano Lab is a short animated film about a scientist's research into the nature of human interaction with sound. What is it about music and how is it that we respond with our emotions? What is really happening at the centre of all of this and will Adam find out?
