I think he still wants to win them, but the way he talks about things, it just seems a little bit different.
Do you think he regrets playing on grass at all?
I don’t think he regrets playing. I think he loves playing, and he loves the competition. I think he just realized that it’s time to move on to other things in his life. He’s been playing for so long, and he’s achieved so much. It’s hard to keep that level of intensity and motivation for that long.
What do you think will be his lasting legacy?
His lasting legacy will be how he changed the game. He brought a new level of professionalism, athleticism, and intensity to tennis. He inspired so many people, and he will always be remembered as one of the greatest to ever play the game.
What’s your favorite memory of him on the court?
My favorite memory of him on the court is probably when he won his first Wimbledon. He was so young, and he was so raw. He just came out of nowhere and took the tennis world by storm. It was an incredible moment.
Anything else you’d like to add?
I just want to say that it’s been a pleasure to watch him play over the years. He’s been an incredible ambassador for the sport, and he will be missed. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
